The video to the left “Study: 22 Shots” by Todd Eckert is choreographically limited to two actions by the subject, standing up and running to a stop against a wall. This study explores those two movements from 11 different camera setups for each movement. This study helps to illustrate how the camera’s perspective can create wildly different visual sensations and perceptual meanings of even simple action.
